Art Notes:

This piece was created as one of five in a new series specifically made for the Loft Gallery Inc. Annual Square Foot Show 2023.  It was also inspired by our trip to Algonquin Provincial Park 3 years ago... Lake of Two Rivers at sunset (or just shortly thereafter). I did a quick study in the spring from the same scene and enjoyed it so much that I wanted to create it on canvas. It was a joy to create. There is something about clouds that keeps tugging at my heart, and I'm looking forward to exploring these subjects more and more.
