Art Notes:

This study was created to loosen up my brush and focus on shapes, strokes and values - working on simplifying and feeling my way through the piece. I took the reference photo during a camping trip at Pinery Provincial Park when we visited the beach along the shore of Lake Huron.

I plan to re-create something similar, on canvas in the near future. Stay tuned.
